Instructors from Taekwon-do Wales recently returned from a 3 day International Instructor Course (IIC) in Schipol, Holland, hosted by Taekwon-do International Nederlands. Held on Friday 13th, Saturday 14th and Sunday 15th May 2011, Taekwon-do Wales Rogerstone instructor Mr Andy Withers II Degree and Taekwon-do Wales Fleur-de-lis instructors Mr Peter Kent-Marrast IV Degree and Mrs Patricia Kent-Marrast IV Degree attended the 3 day seminar given by Senior Master Hwang Ho Yong VIII Degree and Head of ITF Technical & Education Committee.

The three days were packed full of a variety of topics, including Fundamental Exercises (Gibon Yonsup), Patterns (Tul), Sparring (Matsogi) and Self Defence (Hosin Sul). Although the agenda left little personal time, the second evening saw a number of the UK instructors present head in to Amsterdam for a Chinese Meal and a few well deserved beers.
