Starting on Monday 27th June 2011, and following on from the huge success of our Little Leaders class, we will be opening two new classes at Rogerstone Primary School and Trinity Methodist Church Hall. The classes will be a mixture of children aged 8+, as well as adults of any age and are open to anyone, whether they are entirely new to martial arts, have practiced other martial arts before or perhaps have even practiced Taekwon-do before.

The classes will be run by Taekwon-do Wales Rogerstone instructor Mr Andy Withers 2nd Degree Black Belt – who will be assisted by his wife, Mrs Tracey Withers 2nd Kup, his son Owain Withers 1st Kup and his daughter Isabel Withers 4th Kup.

Class times are:

Mondays 7-8pm at Rogerstone Primary School
Fridays 7-8pm at Trinity Church Hall

Well done to everyone that took part in the 2011 UKTA English Championships in Guildford this weekend. The competition was the first national competition of 2011 and Taekwon-do Wales students were keen to start the year well after finishing No.1 School of 2010.

Out of a total of 414 competitors, 29 Taekwon-do Wales students did a FANTASTIC job by coming away with 8 Gold, 15 Silver and 16 Bronze medals. This secured 73 points for Taekwon-do Wales, taking them straight to the top of this years Overall School leaderboard.
